Before we go any further

I spent twelve years as a Registered Nutritionist and Personal Trainer telling clients what to eat. Good clients. Motivated clients. Women who understood the science, tracked their macros, meal-prepped on Sunday, and still found themselves at 9pm standing at the kitchen cupboard negotiating with a packet of biscuits.

The information was not the problem. It was never the information.

"When I'm asked how I lost the weight, the answer is that I'm not actually doing anything in particular. This is just the way I eat now."

That was a client. Fourteen months in. 74.9kg from 90.95kg. She had done Noom. She had done Whole30. She had read Atomic Habits twice. None of it stuck — not because she lacked discipline, but because none of it addressed the layer underneath.

Dieting Differently Foundations teaches that layer. Not as theory. As six specific, practised, repeatable skills.

This programme is for you if

You succeed at hard things.
This one keeps defeating you.

  • You run a team, manage complexity, make decisions under pressure, and still cannot seem to get this one "simple" thing under control

  • You know what to eat. You have known for years. The gap is between knowing and doing it consistently when life is complicated

  • You have tried plans, programmes, and approaches that worked for three weeks before collapsing on a Thursday

  • The mental load around food is exhausting. Counting, tracking, planning, negotiating, restarting. You want it to be quiet

  • You have been a Dieting Differently member or reading the free content long enough to recognise the patterns. You are ready to build the skills

  • You want to lose weight. You also want to stop thinking about food all day. You believe both are possible at the same time

This programme is not for beginners. It is for women who already understand the patterns and are ready for structured skill-building with a clear beginning and a clear end. If you are not yet a Dieting Differently member, start there.

Why I built this for you

The membership teaches the patterns.
Foundations builds the skills.

DD membership works on one pattern per month. It is ongoing, flexible, and designed for the long game. You learn to recognise the patterns. You start catching yourself.

But recognising a pattern and having the skill to interrupt it under pressure are two different things. One happens in a calm moment with a podcast in your ears. The other happens at 9pm on Thursday when a project has gone sideways and you have been in back-to-back calls since 7am.

Foundations teaches the skills in sequence, with deliberate practice and feedback, so they hold when Thursday actually explodes.

Not knowledge you have. Skills you can execute.

Six weeks. One skill per week. Practised in community, coached in real time. By week six you are not trying to remember what to do. You are doing it.

The programme

Six skills.
Six weeks.
One per week, in order.

  • Distinguishing physical hunger from stress hunger, emotional hunger, and habitual hunger — and responding to each one correctly.

  • Without waiting for Monday. The skill of continuing without restarting — so one hard day does not become a three-day spiral.

  • Decision fatigue is real. This skill builds the pre-decision architecture that means you are not relying on willpower when the battery is at zero.

  • Cortisol drives eating in ways that have nothing to do with hunger. This skill intercepts the pattern before the fridge opens.

  • Not a meal plan. A rescue system. Three to five meals that require zero decision-making — deployed in the weeks when perfection is not an option.

  • The final skill and the hardest. Continuing without restarting. Not beating yourself up and not using self-compassion as a reason to stop trying.

Let's be clear

What Foundations is not.

This matters because you have probably been sold the wrong things before. This programme does none of the following.

  • A meal plan or food rules to follow

  • A willpower-based approach that relies on discipline and restriction

  • A "transform your relationship with food" programme (this is a skills programme — the relationship improves because the skills work, not as the end goal in itself)

  • A beginner programme or an introduction to healthy eating

  • A therapy substitute — if clinical support is what you need, this is not the right fit

  • Open-ended or indefinite — six weeks, a clear end, and you leave with skills that continue working after the cohort closes

It is a skill-building programme. Structured, sequential, practical. You arrive knowing the patterns. You leave with the ability to interrupt them under pressure.

What changes when the
skills are built.

"When I'm asked how I lost the weight, the answer is that I'm not actually doing anything in particular. This is just the way I eat now."

DD client · 74.9kg from 90.95kg · 14 months

She’d done Noom. She had done Whole30. She had read Atomic Habits twice. Not one of those approaches was wrong. Every single one was solving the wrong problem.

The problem was never information. It was never motivation. It was the gap between knowing and doing, and that gap closes when the skills are in place, not when the plan is good enough.

"I had a donut. I thought about calories but yesterday when I woke up I looked the same — the donut didn't make me put on a stone. More importantly I didn't reach for more sugary foods."

DD member · on Skill 02 in practice

That is Skill 02. That is what recovering without restarting actually looks like. Not a dramatic breakthrough, a quiet Tuesday that used to spiral and did not.

How it works

Six weeks.
One skill. Every week.

Each week follows the same arc: teach the skill, understand why it matters, practise it in your actual life, bring the stuck moments to the cohort, get coached.

  • Map your four hunger types. Build the diagnostic habit. The first skill is the foundation everything else sits on.

  • Dismantle the restart cycle. Install the no-compensation rule. Learn to continue instead of restart.

  • Build pre-decision architecture. Anchor meals. The practices that mean 9pm Georgia does not have to decide anything.

  • The cortisol-food connection in practice. The 90-Second Reset deployed as a skill, not a nice-to-have.

  • Build your personal rescue system. Three to five meals. Stock the ingredients. Deploy without thinking.

  • The skill that makes all the others sustainable. Integrate. Review. Graduate with the six skills operational.

What you get

Everything in the programme.
Nothing that is not.

  • Video lesson and implementation workbook for each skill. Teach, understand, practise — in that order.

  • One per skill. Not busywork — the specific exercises that build the skill in your actual life, not in theory.

  • Six weeks with a group of women working through the same skills at the same time. Not a forum — a coached cohort.

  • Full access to the Saturday podcast, the Vault, and the member chat throughout the six weeks.

  • Comprehensive Cheat Sheet covering all six skills that you keep after the cohort ends. The skills do not expire when the programme does.

£497 is less than you spend on one failed programme and its supplements. It is also less than three years of a Dieting Differently membership at the annual rate. The difference is that Foundations has a beginning and an end, and you graduate with skills that support your independence, not ongoing dependency.

Georgia Kohlhoff

Registered Nutritionist. Personal Trainer. Trainee Therapist. Sixteen years working with women who succeed at everything except this.

I developed a disordered relationship with food at ten years old. By my twenties I was working twelve-hour shifts in gyms, qualified in clinical nutrition, and still hiding wrappers. Still eating standing up. Still planning Monday's meals on Friday and changing my mind six times by Sunday.

The knowledge alone does not work. I know because I had all of it. The fix is the thinking underneath — and that is what this programme teaches.

I am the only person in this space who holds dual qualification in clinical nutrition and therapeutic practice. That combination is why the approach works where others have not. We fix the food and the thinking at the same time. Not one after the other.

FAQ

  • Ideally yes — Foundations assumes you can already recognise the patterns. If you have been reading the free Substack content for six or more months and find yourself nodding at all six skills above, you are ready. If you are newer to this work, start with the DD membership and come to the September cohort. LEARN MORE HERE

  • The community chat is where you bring your stuck moments throughout the week. Georgia is active in there. Total dedicated time for the module and workbook is roughly 45 minutes per week.

  • No. £497 is one payment. If the investment is not workable right now, the DD membership at £65/month is the right place to continue building.

  • You graduate with the six skills operational and a written protocol pack you keep. If you want to continue in the membership you can. The Body Recomposition Group Coaching Cohort opens in Q3 2026 for Foundations graduates who are ready for a structured fat loss phase.

  • Because everything you have tried was probably solving the wrong problem. Meal plans solve a food problem. This programme solves a skill problem. The food has never been the issue — it is the layer underneath that keeps pulling you back. That is what we build the skills to interrupt.

  • Approximately May 14th. The cohort begins June 1. The next cohort opens September 2026.

The knowing-doing gap closes when the skills are built.
Not before.
